Alec Zavala won the 2010 Regional Silver Gloves Tournament held on January 5-7 in the City of Norwalk. He is now preparing to represent the Chino Boxing Club at the National Tournament which will be held in Independence, Missouri on February 3-6. Good luck!!!

The Annual Gobbler Gloves Boxing Show was held on Sunday, November 22, 2009 at the Chino Neighborhood Activity Center. Over 500 people attended the show which hosted 19 amateur bouts throughout the afternoon.

The Chino Boxing Club gives participants the opportunity to learn the art of boxing while developing character, good health, and sportsmanship. All boxers are under the guidance of USA Boxing certified coaches. The Chino Youth Boxing Foundation hosts three USA Boxing Federation sanctioned shows each year. Parents must sign a release for all minor participants, and all members must attend a mandatory orientation. Orientations are held every second and fourth Tuesday of the month from 6:30-7:30 p.m. at the Neighborhood Activity Center. Monthly fees are $5 for youth ages 8-17 and $8 for adults 18+.
